Calling all Faculty & Staff: Become an Ally

The UHCL Safe Zone Program is a faculty and staff program designed to help create a safe and supportive environment for everyone in the UHCL community.  The Safe Zone Program was specifically created to address the needs of UHCL community members who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, and/or transgender.

Allies work to  advocate and act as a visible resource for the LGBT community at UHCL.

All faculty and staff members interested in becoming an Ally are  invited to attend an Ally Orientation on Nov. 30, 2010 from 3 to 4 pm in the Student Organizations Room (SSCB 1.202.07).

RSVPs would be appreciated. RSVP to Julie Smith, Coordinator Women’s and LGBT Services, at 281-283-2578 or smithj@uhcl.edu.
