INFOGRAPHIC: Mental health needs rise during pandemic

In the early weeks of the pandemic, mental health concerns arose because of rising anxiety and stress surrounding COVID-19 and subsequent disruption in daily life. 

Between the unemployment rate rising over 10% and the sudden shutdown of education, tourism, arts and sports, the lives and living situations of most people changed suddenly. Those who contract COVID-19 from frontline locations like hospitals, testing centers and morgues face fatigue and discouragement while others confined to their home face issues like loneliness, insomnia, anxiety and/or abuse.
