The following was sent as a message from UHCL president Richard Walker.

Dear Faculty, Staff and Students:I am writing to notify you that Dr. Aaron Hart, Vice President for Student Affairs, will be departing University of Houston-Clear Lake on September 16, 2022. We appreciate all Dr. Hart has done for the university over his three years of service. He has been appointed Vice President for Student Affairs at Virginia Commonwealth University. Please join me in congratulating Dr. Hart on his new role and wishing him the best of success.I will appoint an Interim Vice President for Student Affairs in the coming weeks and provide additional updates as they become available.Sincerely,Richard Walker, Ed.D.President
