Cigar Box Exhibition opens Oct. 1

The Artist Project Space will have its Cigar Box Exhibition in the Arbor North building Oct. 1 to Oct. 15, co-curated by professors Jason Makepeace, associate professor of art, and Lauren Yandell, senior lecturer of art and design. The Artist Project Space is a student-run gallery located in the Arbor North building.

Students from Yandell’s Advanced Painting (ARTS 4335), Advanced Drawing (ARTS 4331), Graduate Drawing/Painting (ARTS 5331) and Makepeace’s Process Sculpture (ARTS 3310) art classes will be joining the professors to make cigar boxes. There will be a total of 47 pieces in the exhibition. This is the first time the professors are collaborating with their students on a project like this.

Art Project Space Hours:
Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Friday 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
