Development for a space themed, mix-use business and entertainment facility is underway in Webster. The Space Walk will feature new office and medical buildings, a hotel, conference center, retail and dining, as well as a 10,000 – 17,000 seat amphitheater. The proposed seating capacity of 17,000 means Webster may get a slightly larger outdoor venue than the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands. Phase one of Space Walk includes the hotel, conference center and the amphitheater.  While there are no posted dates for completion, the City of Webster’s 2017 Market Overview states development is underway.
