On Oct. 11, students celebrated the end of UHCL Spirit Week with UHCL Cares Day. UHCL Cares Day is an annual event sponsored by the Hawk Leadership Institute that sees students complete service projects that benefit the local community. This year the event took place at UHCL’s Pearland campus and saw students plant more than twenty trees to beautify the campus’ green spaces.
