Janice Langbehn, winner of the 2011 President’s Citizens Medal, will speak Saturday, April 21st in the Sudent Services Building Lecture Hall. During this event, presented to you by the UHCL BSW Program and the Unity Club and Social Work Student Organization, Langbehn will speak on equality in hospital visitation rights. She will talk about how her tragic story has influenced the current health care policies, namely for the LGBTQ community. This event is open to the public and will last from 1 – 4 pm.
