Hello friends, this is Paul Tristan bringing you the latest info about free movies! I mean, we all like to get free things and enjoy them while we can. YouTube has full length theater quality movies that are available to see for free. YouTube is known for a variety of things, such watching online games, pranksters, news, music videos, endless self-help videos and, more importantly, free shows and movies! Honestly, how can you beat that? There are a variety of shows out there, and what you can find just depends on how far through the Internet you want to look, or you can just google, “Free YouTube movies on Reddit.” Below I am going to share my 10 favorite movies that are currently available to watch on YouTube.
Star Wars I-III Phantom Edit (1999, 2002, 2005)
[youtube http://youtu.be/LhJA7I_8-14]
Star Wars is one of the most popular and enduring franchises; it still has a big following today. Fellow YouTuber Andrew Kwan re-edited the three-part prequel trilogy. Kwan has gone as far as rearranging the score, editing out what he thinks are “boring” parts, and building character development. If you don’t have enough time to sit through and watch the trilogy, check out this 2 hour edit that is exciting and worth the watch.
Big Trouble in Little China (1986)
[youtube http://youtu.be/0oFtYrgh70A]
Big Trouble in Little China is a cult classic many people born after 1992 may not know about, so there is a chance they don’t know what a badass Kurt Russell is. Russell stars as truck driver Jack Burton who with his friend Wang Chi, Dennis Dun, goes to the San Francisco airport to pick up Chi’s girlfriend who is arriving from China. Upon arrival, a Chinese street gang kidnaps her in order to resurrect an evil man who has been cursed for 200 years without a body. Go check it out for yourself youngsters.
In Time (2011)
[youtube http://youtu.be/NYX7s-MpWls]
Some of you may have let this movie slip off your radar, and that’s regrettable. Although I am not really a fan of Justin Timberlake’s music, In Time has JT’s character living in a very believable, sadistic future in which time is literally money. This sci-fi thriller will have you rooting for Timberlake to triumph as he races through an alternate world in which no one ages past 25. Yeah. Go see it.
The Prowler (1981)
[youtube http://youtu.be/4-6JbG0E16c]
This survival horror film came out after the slasher movie craze following the sudden fame of “Friday the 13th” and “Halloween.” “The Prowler” is a slasher film that gets lost in the mix and falls into obscurity. It is not the best scary film in the world, but it certainly is not the worst (aka: Zombie Nation *cough* or 13 Hours in a Warehouse *cough* *cough*). Give this early slasher movie a chance, and you will find yourself clutching your significant other for shelter.
The Illusionist (2006)
[youtube http://youtu.be/IyMBsaA1CRc]
Love. Drama. Magic. Neil Burger’s “The Illusionist” delivers a story that will have you paying attention from the opening scene. Based in the early 1900s, “The Illusionist” tells the story of a magician who specializes in illusions, oh, and he’s able to communicate with the dead and make them reappear. It is a must watch for the Edward Norton enthusiast!
Rumble in the Bronx (1996)
[youtube http://youtu.be/3FLV9bNwEF8]
Jackie Chan, the most incredible stunt man to ever find fame on the big screen, stars as Ma Hon Keung, who goes to the Bronx to attend his uncle’s wedding. When a biker gang starts trouble at his Uncles store, and then Keung gets involved by uncovering police corruption, cleaning the bad guys off streets and bringing down a crime syndicate. The movie is loaded with an attack barrage of great choreographed fight scenes, humorous stunts and funny overdubs.
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (2000)
[youtube http://youtu.be/FfNj-Q2c5UQ]
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust is one of the most beautifully drawn animes of all time. The story follows a legendary bounty hunter who calls himself “D,” a half-breed son of a human mother and a vampire father. D is hired, along with the Markus brothers, to find a girl who has been abducted by the vampire Meier Link. The bounty hunters face an array of different nightmarish monsters that serve as hired guards for Meier. The closer they get to retrieving the girl, the more they begin to speculate that the girl may have left willingly.
Predator (1985)
[youtube http://youtu.be/RqdGV4dbUeQ]
Here the “Governator” is dropped off in a jungle on a secret ops mission to recover n a mission to rescue hostages from guerrilla territory in Central America. Along the way he and his team meet up with a single alien predator who hunts them down one by one. This movie is the reason why Schwarzenegger solidified himself as one of the best action heroes to ever grace the screen.
Fight Club (1999)
[youtube http://youtu.be/CzvwsNWBQns]
First rule about Fight Club, tell no one about Fight Club. Second Rule, tell no one it is on YouTube for free. Brad Pitt stars in this psychological drama that is one for the ages. Reserve some time and get yourself educated about Tyler Durden and his club.
There are plenty of other free movies on YouTube for you guys to watch; here are some honorable mentions:
