UHCL Police Department to host women’s self-defense class

The UHCL community is invited to participate in a free women’s self-defense class called R.A.D. hosted by the UHCL Police Department. R.A.D. will take place April 21 from 6-10 p.m. and April 22 from 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at the UHCL Pearland Campus in Conference Room 179.

R.A.D., a nationally acclaimed self-defense course, stands for Rape Aggression Defense. The course teaches women self-awareness, basic self-defense measures and builds confidence.

Those interested must attend both sessions to complete the course.

Typically only offered twice per year, now is the time to register.  To register, email RAD@uhcl.edu
