The last meeting of the spring semester was a short one as the winners of the SGA election were announced.
The Executive Council announced the 2017-2018 SGA EC Representatives:
- SGA President, Justin Murphy
- VP – Committee Coordinator, Diveanne Martinez
- VP – Outreach and Communication, Mohamed AbdelGilil
- VP – Administration, Izuh K. Ikpeama
The representatives of the Shared Governance Committee were also announced:
- Patrick Fetterly will be on the Planning and Budgeting Committee
- Jonathan Cantú will be on the University Life Committee
The Executive Council also gave out awards to student organizations.
The student organizations who received perfect attendance awards were:
- Chemistry Club
- Black Student Association
- Delta Xi Nu
- Pre-Health and Science Association
- ROW Adventures
- Delta Kappa
- National Society of Leadership and Success
- Legal Studies Association
- Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE)
The student organizations who received certificates for the food drive were:
- Spirit Squad
- eSports
- Hispanics Advancing Culture, Education, & Rights (HACER)
The SGA summer meetings will begin the first Tuesday in June.
