University of Houston-Clear Lake Art Gallery Assistant Karen Fiscus is using her artistic talent to support The Houston Food Bank in their annual Empty Bowls Houston campaign.


UHCL ceramist makes 107 bowls for Houston Food Bank fundraiser

For her sixth year, University of Houston-Clear Lake Art Gallery Assistant Director Karen Fiscus joined other Houston-area ceramists in accepting ClayHouston’s challenge to create 100 soup bowls to be sold in an annual fundraiser, Empty Bowls Houston, benefiting the Houston Food Bank. She made 107.


UHCL art coordinator completes Empty Bowls Houston challenge for seventh year

UHCL Exhibitions Coordinator Karen Fiscus has completed another year of making 100 bowls to benefit and donate to Empty Bowls Houston.
