INFOGRAPHIC: Understanding how the Census works

The first United States Census took place in 1790 with a door to door count by the U.S. Marshals. Over two hundred years later, the 2020 Census is the first time that the survey can be taken online, alongside via phone or email. Here are some quick facts about the Census.
