While the November and December holiday season is known for non-secular holidays like Christmas, Hanukkah and Diwali, there are several secular cultural holidays millions observe across the world like Kwanzaa. Kwanzaa began in 1966 as a way to unite Black Americans on a national scale over a decade before the recognition of Black History Month.
