Hand signs have long been a staple of campus spirit and life. Now, UHCL’s Hawk Spirit & Traditions Council (HSTC) is encouraging the student body to vote on an official hand sign for the university. 

New school spirit initiatives have been discussed, including a proposed spirit day encouraging students to wear school colors (blue and green) on Wednesdays.
