Student Publication Awards
Awards received: Spring 2012
At the March 28 – April 1, 2012 Texas Intercollegiate Press Association state conference, student publications from the University of Houston-Clear Lake won 28 awards for work produced during the 2011 school year. The Signal newspaper won 25 awards. The Literary Art Magazine, Bayousphere, won 3 awards. Please note that the national competition, Columbia Scholastic Press Association, has moved its submission dates for pre-published material to June. Therefore, we will not know the results from this competition until later in the year. The results from Associated Collegiate Press have not been announced yet either.
