WSSA Feminist Boot Camp

On Friday, Women’s Studies Student Association will show the film “Step By Step,” followed by a speaker who will speak about feminism in the military. The evening will end with a consciousness-raising group where individuals will be able to discuss their experiences with gender discrimination in a safe environment.

Saturday, WSSA will have a variety of different non-profit organizations such as the Bridge, NOW, and Planned Parenthood, as well as student organizations such as Delta Xi Nu, CASSA, UNITY, and the Anime Club. These organizations will come in and talk about what they do. The point of this event is to explain what feminism, why it is important, and how to get involved.

Tickets are $10 and are good for both days, food will be provided.
