Description:  “Trade” is a film about Adriana, a 13-year-old girl whose kidnapping by sex traffickers sets in motion a desperate mission to save her by her 17-year-old brother, Jorge. The movie is described as very powerful, deeply moving, an excellent humanization of the underground sex slave trade and especially timely and appropriate considering that Houston is the major hub for sex trafficking in the U.S.

Anya Ezhevskaya, advocate with Free the Captives, will be speaking at the event.
