“United We Dream” talk with special guest, Oscar Hernández

The College of Human Sciences and Humanities, in collaboration with Anthropology and Cross-Cultural Studies, is hosting “United We Dream” with special guest speaker Oscar Hernández. The event is Nov. 9 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. in the Bayou Building, Garden Room.

During this event, students will be able to learn more about the challenges and opportunities immigrant youth in America face daily. The discussion is part of the UHCL Common Reader Program, which invites students, faculty and staff to read and respond to the novel, “The Book of Unknown Americans.”
