Environmental Institute of Houston to host Youth Birding Club

The next Youth Birding Club meeting will take place Saturday, Feb. 18 from 9 to 10:30 a.m.  Participants will explore the UHCL campus as well as look for the many different bird species that live and visit here with an experienced birder and bird educator. The youth birding club is open to children ages 7 to 13-years-old and their parents or grandparents. No more than three children per adult. Closed-toed shoes are required to participate. Participants are highly encouraged to wear long pants, long sleeves, hat, and sunscreen and bring a water bottle. For more information and to register visit http://bit.ly/birdingclub.

The meeting will take place at the Environmental Institute of Houston (EIH) located in the NOA I building (look for the garden), on the north side of campus close to Entrance 3 (Middlebrook Drive). Park in Lot D4. There is no fee for parking during the weekend.
