GALLERY: Houstonians march to protest gun violence

On March 24, a peaceful March for Our Lives protest was held at Tranquility Park. Thousands of people were in strong presence that Saturday calling for gun control. Teachers, parents and politicians also showed up to support the cause. The park located in downtown Houston was crowded with protesters as they listened to speakers such as Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner while marching through the streets. Houston was one of many cities in the nation and around the globe that took part in the March for Our Lives movement. Others who participated were Washington, Paris, Hamburg and Berlin.
