RESULTS: Are you registered to vote?

Each week The Signal will pose a question related to one of the current issue’s articles. Answer the question via the Google Form link in our emailed newsletter and see the full results the following week.

The Question of the Week for issue #2 of the fall 2018 semester asks, “Are you registered to vote?” Oct. 9 is the last day to register to vote and Nov. 6 is midterm elections.


*NOTE: Some responders chose to be anonymous by only stating which group within the UHCL community they belong to.

QUESTION: Why do/don’t you plan to vote?

If you don’t vote, you don’t have a voice.

Most important action for democracy.

To be heard. Everyone’s opinion matters. If I don’t vote, I might as well be voting for what I don’t want. My vote will cancel out someone else’s vote for something I don’t want.
