MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT: University Faculty Fellowship 2018-2019 recipients announced

Dear Faculty, Staff and Students:
I am pleased to announce the recipients of two University Faculty Fellowship awards for the 2018-2019 academic year, Dr. David Garrison, professor of Physics in the College of Science and Engineering, and Dr. Jennifer Fritz, associate professor of Behavior Analysis in the College of Human Sciences and Humanities. University Faculty Fellowships are awarded to faculty for their accomplishments and contributions to UH-Clear Lake for exemplary teaching, research and service. Fellowships are awarded for a period of one academic year. Recipients receive a stipend to be used for educational materials, research seed money, travel to conferences, workshops, seminars and related items.
Dr. Garrison and Dr. Fritz will be added to a plaque located on the first floor of Atrium II in the Bayou Building, along with former recipients of this award. Special thanks to the faculty and academic administrators at the college level who nominated faculty for these fellowships. In addition, many thanks to Dr. Denise McDonald, Dr. Chris Ward, Dr. Terry Feagin and Dr. Hui Dui who served in an advisory capacity to Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Steven J. Berberich in helping to formulate the recommendations.
Again, congratulations to our recipients of UHCL’s University Faculty Fellowships for 2018-2019.
