VIDEO: Hawks share their go-to budget friendly meals
When in college, every dollar counts, so students often find themselves needing to get thrifty during meal times. In fact, half of students attending 2-year and 4-year colleges face food insecurity. UHCL has some food selections such as the Patio Café and vending machines. There is also a dedicated food pantry ran by the Dean of Students Office, which is available to all students, no questions asked.
The Signal asked students of UHCL what their favorite budget-friendly foods are.
