BRIEF: Muslim Student Association to host ‘Journey to Islam’ event

UHCL’s Muslim Student Association is hosting an event called Journey to Islam, which will take place Oct. 23 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. in the SSCB Lecture Hall. The event is meant to by a secure space to learn more about Islam.

Activities will include Henna, and a lecture and Q&A session with guest speaker Imam Hernandez. Food from Sawa Mediterranean Grill will be served at the event. The activities will begin at noon with the food being served as well. The Imam Hernandez lecture will start at 1 p.m. with the Q&A portion beginning at 2 p.m.
