November is National Native American Heritage month and what better way to celebrate a culture than to learn more about it? Texas is home to several Native American tribes, such as the Alabama-Coushatta and Apache, some of which call Houston home. From museums to learn about the past to galleries that display a bright artistic future, Texas has several opportunities for the University of Houston-Clear Lake students, faculty and staff to learn about Native Americans and Native American history.
