BLOG: Introducing Tracking Wellness

Last year, I spent my fall semester doing a live blog about my experience trying out and using the WellTrack app, a health and wellness app that UHCL’s Counseling Services program is greatly advocating students use.

The experience was quite an interesting one, and one I knew would only last for the fall semester. However, deep down I knew I would want to continue blogging about my experiences in health and wellness as a whole.

College is not easy. As a college student, there are a number of factors that can cause one to enter college healthy and graduate with great room for improvement. As a college student with a job and all, every day is a challenge to get through this experience while ensuring I never give into the pressures and stress college can cause and get through college as a well and healthy individual.

This blog will live up to its title, “Tracking Wellness.” Through this blog, I shall document my experiences in keeping up with my health and wellness. As the university’s website says, health and wellness are vital to one’s academic success, so this blog will focus on how I use certain health and wellness tips and practices that ensure not only my health and wellness but also my own academic success.

Overall, I like to think I am sharing my journey and growth towards better health, as I am certainly not some health guru. So if the things I write about end up helping someone, just know I’m certainly still learning a lot myself. With all that being said, welcome to my journey of trying and tracking my health and wellness.
