Most theatrically released horror movies arrive in August and October to catch the Halloween audience. In October, theaters will sometimes reshow a horror classic like “Halloween,” “Rocky Horror Picture Show” or “A Nightmare on Elm Street” on the big screen to capitalize on Halloween fun.
