UHCL opens new Admission Center

The new admission center opened Thursday, August 31 2023 and it is located on the Student Services and Classroom Building on the first floor. The center has marble floors, a row of chairs on individual conference tables, multiple places to sit, and a meeting room decked out the green and blue colors.

The celebration was on the same day from 12-5 p.m. It had a big crowd of administrators and students alike. It started with President Walker and the mascot Hunter the Hawk cutting the green ribbon and then everyone went inside and listened to speeches by President Walker. In the speeches, it was noted that they hoped this place would help with attendance and boost marketability.

After that people got food. They were serving, ice cream and popcorn, and a goodie bag.
