Did you know about Counseling Services?

Being a college student sometimes has its ups and downs. Students can experience different kinds of problems throughout the years and sometimes it can be overwhelming.

Did you know that UHCL offers students counseling in differing matters? Located in SSCB 3.103, Counseling Services provide some of its services for free. Some of the services include, individual personal counseling, group, couples, academic counseling, and vocational counseling and career workshops. Counselors are available to meet with students and listen to their matters.

You can request an appointment to meet with a counselor. For more information, you can visit www.uhcl.edu/counselingservices or you can call at 281-283-2580. As a student, I definitely need someone to listen to me and to the kinds of issues I might be facing. I am glad that UHCL has these services that students can take advantage of.
