Become a Safe Zone Ally

The purpose of this program is to further the mission of the university by helping to create a safe and supportive campus environment for all members of the UHCL community. Specifically, this program was created to address the unique needs of those members of the community who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, and/or transgender. As a Safe Zone Ally, you will be an advocate and visible resource for the LGBT community at UHCL.

The orientation session will be:

Student Orgs Room (SSCB 1.202.07)

The session is open to all campus employees including student workers. It is our hope to have Allies in each school and in all campus departments, so please consider joining the program.
