Celebrate Dia de los Muertos at UHCL tomorrow

IISS’ annual Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration will take place tomorrow, Nov. 1, from noon to 6 p.m. in the Bayou Atrium I.

All are invited to help celebrate the traditional Latin American holiday by bringing items that commemorate and honor the lives of those who have passed away.

The event will feature a traditional altar where participants can place items and a memorial wall where pictures and comments can be posted. The will also be skull painting, paper flower making and traditional snacks throughout the afternoon.
