Opening Reception for Vojtěch Aubrecht and Miro Švolík Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 5-7 p.m. Location: Bayou Building, Atrium I, second level. Free Parking: Visitor Lot or Lot D.  Exhibition on view Feb. 7 – March 22, 2013 on the second level of Bayou Building, Atrium I.  UHCL is pleased to host two solo exhibitions of international photographers Vojtěch Aubrecht and Miro Švolík. Both artists are faculty members at International Art Consortium institutions: Aubrecht is professor of photography at the Institute of Art and Design at the University of West Bohemia in Plzen, Czech Republic, and Švolík is head of the creative photography studio at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Slovakia. This is not the first time that their works have been on view at UHCL; both had works featured in the 2012 group exhibition Reconnecting Through Photography: Czech Republic – Slovak Republic.
