University of Houston-Clear Lake School of Education student Dare Rodriguez received the Local Outstanding Officer Award during the Texas State Teachers Association’s state convention. Rodriguez, an Officer at Large Internship II for the UHCL TSTA-Student Program, was recognized by association officials for her dedication and commitment to the organization, which included recruiting and mentoring new members, and led the chapter to be one of the fastest growing and most recognized in the state.
