INTERACTIVE MAP: Veteran memorials in Houston
On Tuesday, Nov. 11, UHCL will be celebrating Veterans Day on campus at Liberty Park. President William A. Staples will welcome attendees with an opening speech and attendees will be able to enjoy performances by The Village Voices, the choir at Clear Falls High School and a presentation of Colors by Clear Lake High School’s JROTC Color Guard. Featured speakers for the day include US Army retired Sgt. 1st Class Michael Turnage, and John Roberts, executive vice president of warrior relations at the Wounded Warrior Project.
