Q&A: Brandi Rygaard

Brandi Rygaard is currently attending UHCL as a math major and is expected to graduate in the Spring of 2017. She is getting her teaching degree for grades 7 through 12 and is hoping to teach high school students. Rygaard says she is unsure where she wants to teach but she might apply at her hometown school in Santa Fe. Outside of her studies, she works as a hostess at Gringo’s Mexican Kitchen, where she has been employed since she was in high school. Rygaard is a big fan of music; she calls herself a pop-punk kid. Some of her favorite bands are Blink 182, Quiet Company and The Wonder Years. She enjoys going to concerts and has seen Quiet Company at least 12 times.
