“Preventing Meltdowns: How to Teach Your Learner To Ask, Wait, and Accept ‘No’”

Learn how to prevent and reduce problem behavior! This presentation is helpful for anyone who wants more information about possible reasons for their learner’s problem behavior and some supports to help teach more appropriate behaviors! This presentation will focus on how to teach your learners to ask for things they want, including your attention and breaks from work. Additionally, you will learn how to help your learners wait for their favorite items and how to accept ‘no’ in those situations.
