UHCL’s Kids U camps run through July 27

University of Houston-Clear Lake’s Kids U summer camps run June 5 – July 27, each week promising new opportunities for discovery for students from Pre-K to 12th grade.

Featuring a variety of themed half-day camps, courses are designed to inspire exploration and learning – from science to storytelling and dozens of other subjects. Camps are held in the center Arbor Building, 2700 Bay Area Blvd., Houston.

Kids U runs six camps that target different interests at different ages: Cultural Academy, Early Childhood, Math, Science, Technology and Young Writers. Topics include crime scene investigation, computer programming, kitchen chemistry, video game design, public speaking, writing, survival skills, dinosaurs, insects and more. Prices range from $139-$149 depending on the theme.
