With “Infinity War” already in theaters, fans are able to refresh their Marvel memory by attending the marathon, which will have the opportunity to rewatch favorite Marvel characters and stories as well as catch anything they might have missed.

“I honestly can’t wait for ‘Infinity War’,” said Aldana Reyes, communication major. “I planned on binge watching as many movies as I could fit in before I am able to go watch it, so the fact that CAB is hosting this event is perfect for us Marvel fans. My boyfriend and I are even making a date night out of the event.”

The marathon lineup is divided into four days, screening two movies per day. The marathon lineup is as follows:

• April 30 – “Iron Man” and “The Avengers”
• May 1 – “Captain America” and “Avengers: Age of Ultron”
• May 2 – “Captain America: Civil War” and “Doctor Strange”
• May 3 – “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” and “Thor: Ragnarok”

The movie marathon was created not only with Marvel fans in mind but also those who are not familiarized with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movies selected were chosen based on their relativeness to “Infinity War” as well as their ability to familiarize new audiences with the Marvel fandom.

“We choose the movies based on the ones that we felt had the biggest connections to ‘Infinity War,’” said Diveanne Martinez, president of CAB. “We also wanted to make it so that if you’d never seen a Marvel movie before, you could watch the ones we’re showing and get a general idea of what is going on in the Marvel Universe.”

The movie marathon is a free event and open to both students and non-students. Guests are encouraged to bring their own snacks and drinks to enjoy during the movies.
