Once seen as a game for the stereotypical “nerd,” Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) has grown in popularity, in part due to popular streaming channels such as “The Adventure Zone” and “Critical Role.” The UHCL Gamers Guild has always offered D&D, but it has only been within the last year that the club’s D&D group has seen major growth in membership, now boasting over 30 members and almost daily game sessions. The guild welcomes new members. Anyone interested in joining, either for casual gaming or for D&D, can visit the Gamers Guild during their regular meetings, Fridays at 7 p.m. in SSCB 2311.
