Houston Public Media recently reported that the payment processing firm Wex found that credit card holders in the Greater Houston Area are more likely to have their card information stolen than anywhere else in the United States. Card skimming devices have been popping up all over Houston, and many people have been victimized. Luckily, there are ways to prevent one’s information from being skimmed by thieves.
