BRIEF: Resident Advisor applications open for spring 2020

Student Housing and Residential Life is now accepting applications for emerging student leaders that want to leave a positive mark on campus by becoming a Resident Advisor (RA) for the upcoming semester.

Matthew Perry, director of student housing and residential life, said RAs are expected to help implement the “Live, Learn, Engage” model of the residence hall, as well as advocate and support student living while at Hunter Hall.

For those interested, there will be an informational session held Dec. 4 at 5 p.m. inside Hunter Hall about being an RA and core duties such as community development, recruitment and crisis management.

Students can apply for a position now through the Jobs4Hawks/Handshake platform. As applicants are reviewed, in-person interviews will be scheduled for the last week of January 2020.
