Personal protective equipment, or PPE, is comprised of various equipment used to minimize direct exposure from potential hazards in the workplace that can cause minimal to serious injuries and illnesses.

With the continued spread of COVID-19, one of the most worn pieces of PPE currently is a face mask to filter the air breathed in through the mouth and nose. However, there are many forms of PPE that are used daily to protect a person.
