INTERACTIVE INFOGRAPHIC: How to participate in mail-in voting

With the 2020 elections and the pandemic happening simultaneously Americans are wondering how they will be voting this year. For those who qualify, mail-in ballots are an option, which makes voting from home an option.

Texas’s election code defines a disability as a “sickness or physical condition” that prevents a voter from appearing in person without the risk of “injuring the voter’s health.” Despite that definition, the appeals court is in a dispute at county levels to state levels about who would qualify for mail-in voting in Texas. For those that do currently qualify, the mail-in process is outlined below.
