BRIEF: UHCL chiropractic services change because of COVID-19
UHCL no longer offers chiropractic services. This is because of the Texas Chiropractic College’s
COVID-19 regulations. UHCL has offered chiropractic services in contract with the Texas
Chiropractic College. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic put the agreement on hold for the
foreseeable future.
“This is due to the Texas Chiropractic College following its social distancing and safety
guidelines,” Karinn Jones, Senior Patient Services Specialist, said. “However, students can still
make appointments off campus.”
Students in need of chiropractic services can make appointments directly with the Texas
Chiropractic College. The college has its own fee prices for services. Prices may vary depending
on the type of insurance students have.
It is unknown when chiropractic services will return to UHCL.
