COMMUNITY UPDATE: UHCL Alert Weather Update

UHCL OEM is monitoring a low pressure front that will be moving through our area overnight. Development of widespread thunderstorms this afternoon and evening with the potential for large hail, strong wind gusts, heavy downpours, frequent lightning and tornadoes are possible. The threat for severe storms remains highest along and north of the I-10 corridor through the late evening.

A Flood Watch remains in effect for portions of our area between 7 PM tonight and 7 AM tomorrow.

UHCL OEM will continue to monitor the system throughout the afternoon and evening and keep you updated on any changes to UHCL schedules. Please continue to monitor local news sources for your area and take appropriate actions to keep yourself and others safe.
