SG RECAP: Oct. 3, 2023

The meeting began at 11:42 a.m.

The Accounting Association’s fund request was approved.

The Campus Activities Board will be having their next general meeting in the SSCB’s SOCAL on Oct. 19th at 3 p.m. Non-members are encouraged to attend and learn about what CAB has to offer.

The Hawk Spirit & Traditions Council will be hosting their Halloween Fest on Oct. 27th from 6-8 p.m. in the backyard behind the Wellness & Recreation Center and Hunter Hall.

The Office of Student Involvement & Leadership will be having the annual Expedition Excellence on Nov. 4th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Bayou Building.

The Office of Student Involvement & Leadership will continue to hold their Leadership Workshop series. More information can be found on GetInvolved.

During the open forum, parking on campus was discussed. When the idea of a parking garage was mentioned by a student, it was confirmed that the new Student Center will have a parking garage.
