CLASP Programs for May and June

CLASP
CLASP to host several programs over the summer in May and June.

The Clear Lake Association for Senior Programs (CLASP) is an outreach program of UHCL that provides programs to the public. This summer, CLASP will be offering a number of programs. They include:

Thursday, May 3, 5:30-7 p.m. “Command Briefing of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and their Responsibilities” by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District

“Visions in Our Midst” events are held on Thursdays, 5:30-7 p.m. in the UHCL Bayou Building, Garden Room, 2700 Bay Area Blvd. Houston, Texas 77058, unless otherwise noted. Free parking is available in the Visitors Lot. For maps and directions, visit www.uhcl.edu/maps.

Friday, May 4, 10:30 a.m. – noon (NEW speaker) “Duties of the Constables Office: Protecting Your Home and Safety” by Constable Phil Sandlin, Pct. 8

Friday, June 1, 10:30 a.m. – noon (NEW date) “History of the Four Presidents of the Republic of Texas” by Tom Green, chair, Sons of the Republic of Texas Speakers Bureau

Monday, May 7, 10-11:30 a.m. “Memories to Memoirs #1*” by Dion McInnis, associate vice president for university advancement, UHCL

Monday, May 14, 10-11:30 a.m. “Memories to Memoirs #2*” by Dion McInnis, associate vice president for university advancement, UHCL

Monday, May 21, 10-11:30 a.m. “Memories to Memoirs #3*” by Dion McInnis, associate vice president for university advancement, UHCL
