CLASP hosting Visions in Our Midst event featuring Marvin E. Kauffman

The Clear Lake Association of Senior Programs (CLASP) is hosting an event in the Garden Room on Thursday, Nov. 3 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. called “The Mysteries of Glacier Park and the Rockies.”

This event is a part of the “Visions in Our Midst” Distinguished Speaker Series that is being hosted by CLASP as a means to reach out to the local community and provide a free form of education.

Speaking at this event is Marvin E. Kauffman, program director for the National Science Foundation. Kauffman will be speaking about Glacier National Park, which contains portions of the Rocky Mountain chain located in northern Montana.

Kauffman is also a former professor of geosciences from Franklin & Marshall College and former director of the American Geological Institute.

All the programs hosted by CLASP during this semester are free and open to the public.
