2017-2018 International Project Mars Competition now open

The 2017-2018 International Project Mars Competition is now open.

SciArt Exchange, in collaboration with NASA, invites college students and early career professionals to shoot a film or make a poster telling the story of human exploration into deep space.

Three prizes for the film category:

  • $10,000 grand prize
  • $5,000 judge’s prize
  • $5,000 judge’s prize

Eight prizes for the poster category:

  • 1 × $1,500 first place
  • 2 × $1,000 second place
  • 5 × $500 third place

Entries will be judged by film and graphic arts industry professionals and astronauts including Gareth Edwards, director of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” and Joshua Grossberg, Creative Director of McCann New York.

Entries are due Aug. 31, 2018.

Winners will be screened at an Opening Event in fall 2018.
