STORY: Santa Fe High School shooting prompts response from UHCL community

On May 18, Dimitrios Pagourtzis was taken into custody after a mass shooting took place at Santa Fe High School that left eight students and two teachers dead. 13 others were wounded in what is considered the 22nd school shooting in the U.S. in 2018. Here’s what happened and how the University of Houston-Clear Lake community responded.
